Sail Plans

The Sail Plan shows your classroom community what they can expect to learn and do through the school year using a visual voyaging chart as a metaphor for progress. These place-based scopes and sequences feature the Marianas Islands.

 

At the base of each Sail Plan are voyaging values provided by the traditional seafaring community. The middle of the chart features the CHamoru Star Compass symbolizing the values that help guide our lives. Satellite images help you link classroom content with your students' homes. ​
